THE NEXT LARGEST OCEANGOING SEAPORT IN INDONESIA

 

The Patimban Port is one of the National Strategic
Projects (PSN), located in Subang Regency, West
Java. The Patimban Port is expected to become an
international port.

Patimban Port

Patimban Port is a national strategic project
located in Patimban, Subang Regency, West
Java. Built with a capacity of 2.74 million
TEU (Twenty-foot equivalent units) on 300
hectares of land. In the third phase, its
capacity will reach 7.5 million TEUs and 600
thousand CBU (Completely Built Up) vehicles.

Strategic development goals of the Port

 

1. Reduce logistics costs by bringing production centers closer to ports.
2. Strengthening economic resilience.
3. Reduce traffic congestion levels in Jakarta by dividing vehicle traffic flows.
4. Ensuring shipping safety including gas exploration.

Container Terminal And Vehicle Terminal

Container Terminal in the first phase is ready to serve 3.75 million containers, and the third
phase will reach 7.5 million TEUs and for Vehicle Terminal the first phase is ready to serve
218,000 CBU, and the third phase will reach 600 thousand CBU.

The development of Patimban is expected
to increase the economic activity of the
surrounding community, especially with the
increase in logistics and automotive industry
activities. The presence of this port will revive
and stimulate the economic activity of the
community around the new transportation
infrastructure.
